My approach is humanistic and person-centred, which means our work starts with you, your experiences and what matters most in your life. I'm interested not just in what's troubling you, but in understanding the person behind those difficulties. I'll offer you a space where you can be yourself, speak freely and explore feelings that might be difficult to share elsewhere. There are no expectations about what you should feel, say or achieve.
Rather than offering advice or quick fixes, we'll work together to make sense of what's happening in your life. This might mean exploring patterns in your relationships, understanding where certain feelings come from, or discovering what you need to move forward. I'll bring empathy, honesty and curiosity to our conversations, and we'll work at a pace that feels right for you.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties or a period of change, counselling can offer an opportunity to see things differently and reconnect with yourself.
If you feel this approach to whatever you are dealing with might work for you, I'd be happy to hear from you. You're welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation to see whether working together feels right.
My Approach to Counselling

Sometimes life can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from who we really are. You might be struggling with something specific, or simply have a sense that things aren't quite right. Whatever brings you to counselling, you don't need to have it all figured out before we begin.
